BeatPad

BeatPad is a script specialized in BPM-based control.

It comes with the following 8 tools and expression controls:

1. BeatSync – Increase or decrease property values in sync with BPM
2. SetMarker – Place markers based on BPM
3. BPM Visualizer – Display BPM information in the composition
4. KeyDuplicate – Duplicate keyframes based on BPM
5. BeatStep – Continuously repeat property value changes in sync with BPM
6. KeyStep – Adjust keyframe values step by step according to BPM
7. AutoCut – Split layers based on BPM
8. TempoTap – Detect BPM by tapping the button

Installation

Place “Beatpad.jsxbin” and the “BeatPad_lib” folder into the following “ScriptUI Panels” folder:

Mac OS

/Applications/Adobe After Effects (xx)/Scripts/ScriptUI Panels

Windows

C:/Program Files/Adobe/Adobe After Effects (xx)/Support Files/Scripts/ScriptUI Panels
